Lego Carousel (10196): 3,263 pieces
I (or my boyfriend, since he owns it and builds the most) have this since 2009 and always forget to share my photos.
This lego piece is Lego Carousel 10196 has fewer figures than green grocer. It is not as hard as I expected for building the piece because the carousel has same structure around the circle.
You just need to repeat the same step several times then you can form a nice base:
Add the lego piece in the middle, then start to insert slanted piece (pieces with golden sticker) in the middle:
Side view: After the central part is done, put the top part and add the figures in:

Add the fabric first and put the red lego piece on top, then it becomes the finished lego carousel :)
