Green Onion/ Scallion: EASY, FREE, EAT!

Green Onion (Scallion) is a must item in dishes because its uniqueness brings out the fresh taste and smell of the dish.
Green Onion can be widely used on every dish:

I use Green Onion a lot for cooking. They usually cost 30-40 cents USD each in supermarkets in LA.
However, they are getting more expensive now - They used to cost 20 cents each :(
One day, I was browsing the web and saw people using the remaining root of Green Onion to regrow more Green Onions. I was impressed and decided to grow Green Onion myself, and I found out it's really easy to grow it!


Green Onion Lab Manual
What You Need
- A Plastic Cup/ A pot
- A remaining root of Green Onion (White Part + Little Green Part)
- Some Soil
- Water
- Sunlight

What You Do
- Place the root of the Green Onion into the pot that is already filled with soil
You can place the Green Onion with the existing plant.


So you don't need extra soil and pot to grow them.

Or: You can put it in the plastic cup
You don't need a lot of soil in the cup.

- Add some water and wait fior 1-2 weeks. You will be amazed how fast the Green Onion grows.
When you need the green onion, simply cut it and wash it thoroughly.


Cut the Green Onion how you want it to be to make the dish look prettier.

- After you cut the green part away, repeat the steps:
   Add water to the pot
   Wait for the green onion to regrow again!
